Scribble Communications

Who is this guy?

I'm a self-employed editor and writer, working under the business name Scribble Communications. I've edited more than 90 books, written hundreds of magazine articles, and worked on a variety of other fun and challenging projects. Before I restarted my own business in August 2001, I was senior acquisitions editor at NavPress books. Click here for a more complete list of my employment experience prior to starting Scribble.

While I've dabbled in a bit of everything a contract editor might do (from magazine writing to creating website content), much of the work I've done is book editing. Click here to see a list of the books I've worked on.

I started my editing and writing career in 1987 as assistant editor of Decision magazine, where I worked for five years. I'm a graduate of Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications-Journalism. I also attended Wheaton College Graduate School of Communications in Wheaton, Illinois.

My wonderful wife, Esther, and I live in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have two sons, Nate (19) and Trent (17). We attend Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel in Colorado Springs.
